The invention of the bicycle helped this society aspect because cycling is a sport and sports help your health. The bicycle is a sport because you have to "use" yourself to propel it. The bicycle is a very manual vehicle. Cycling is also a sport because there are many cycling competitions in the world like the famous Tour de France. The bicycle it self is a healthy type of transportation because not only does it get you to places, it also improves your health.

1) Studies have shown that physical activity plays a role in decreasing the amount of time that it takes for food to travel through the large intestine. This limits the amount of water is absorbed back into the body, allowing for softer stools.
2) Our Mind tends to have trouble with its memory. Cycling builds up new brains cells in the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain that controls memory. The boost of oxygen and blood flow to the brain will work to improve your ability to remember.
